Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and regularly monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on each student’s unique needs and goals.
Deliver specialized instruction and appropriate accommodations within inclusive and special education classroom environments.
Modify curriculum, instructional materials, assessments, and teaching strategies to support individual learning objectives.
Implement behavior intervention plans and evidence-based strategies to promote positive student behavior and engagement.
Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, paraprofessionals, support staff, administrators, and families to support student success.
Monitor and assess student progress, using data to adjust instructional methods and interventions as needed.
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, IEP documentation, and required compliance records.
Participate actively in IEP meetings, parent conferences, and multidisciplinary team discussions.
Promote student independence, communication, social-emotional development, classroom participation, and academic achievement.
Ensure all services and instructional practices comply with federal, state, and school district special education requirements.
