Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Design and manage IEPs based on individual student needs
• Deliver specialized academic and functional skills instruction
• Modify lessons and classroom activities for different ability levels
• Apply positive behavior and structured learning strategies
• Track student performance and adjust instruction based on progress
• Support communication, daily living, and independence skills
• Coordinate with therapists, paraprofessionals, teachers, and families
• Maintain timely progress notes and required student records
• Participate in IEP reviews and collaborative team meetings
• Follow school, state, and federal special education requirements
