Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate students' fine-motor, sensory, visual-motor, and functional needs
• Develop individualized occupational therapy goals and intervention plans
• Provide direct and consultative school-based OT services
• Support handwriting, self-care, classroom access, and daily functional skills
• Recommend adaptive equipment and environmental modifications when appropriate
• Monitor student outcomes and adjust therapy strategies as needed
• Collaborate with educators, families, and related service professionals
• Contribute to IEP development, reviews, and multidisciplinary meetings
• Maintain accurate therapy notes, evaluations, and progress documentation
• Promote greater independence and participation throughout the school day
