Job Responsibilities

Provide first aid, emergency care, and daily health support to students
Administer medications and monitor student health conditions as prescribed
Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and emergency care plans
Support students with chronic illnesses, disabilities, and special medical needs
Conduct health screenings such as vision, hearing, and immunization compliance
Maintain accurate student health records and confidential documentation
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding student care
Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate appropriate follow-up care
Promote health education, hygiene, and wellness programs in the school
Ensure compliance with school policies and state health regulations
Support infection prevention and campus safety protocols
Participate in IEP and 504 meetings when health-related input is required
