Job Responsibilities

  • Provide basic and emergency healthcare services to students and staff
  • Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and school policies
  • Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, scoliosis, etc.)
  • Develop and manage Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and support IEP/504 plans
  • Monitor and manage chronic conditions such as asthma, diabetes, and allergies
  • Maintain accurate student health records and documentation
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid/CPR as needed
  • Educate students and staff on health, hygiene, and disease prevention
  • Collaborate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers
  • Ensure compliance with state health regulations and school policies
