Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students’ learning, emotional, behavioral, and social needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to create and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students in overcoming social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Partner with educators and staff to develop strategies that improve classroom behavior management and create positive learning environments.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, design intervention approaches, and coordinate referrals to outside agencies when necessary.
  • Monitor and track student progress, adjusting interventions to ensure academic achievement and emotional growth.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families during times of emotional distress or trauma.
