Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted intervention plans.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students in managing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
  • Serve as a resource for educators and staff by recommending strategies to improve classroom behavior management and foster positive learning environments.
  • Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, develop intervention approaches, and coordinate referrals to external support services when necessary.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions to promote both academic success and emotional well-being.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and support to students and families during times of emotional difficulty or traumatic experiences.
