Job Responsibilities

Conduct thorough psychological assessments to identify students’ academic, emotional, and behavioral needs.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to design and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and targeted intervention plans.
Provide individual and group counseling to support students in managing social, emotional, and behavioral challenges.
Serve as a resource for educators and staff by recommending strategies to improve classroom behavior management and foster positive learning environments.
Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress, develop intervention approaches, and coordinate referrals to external support services when necessary.
Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions to promote both academic success and emotional well-being.
Deliver crisis intervention and support to students and families during times of emotional difficulty or traumatic experiences.
