We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Aide / Behavior Therapist to join our educational and behavioral support team in Napa, CA. In this role, you will provide direct support to students with autism, developmental disabilities, and behavioral needs in school and/or home settings. You will work closely under the supervision of Special Education Teachers, Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), and program supervisors to implement individualized learning and behavior intervention plans.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the unique needs of students with mild to moderate disabilities.
Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, behavioral skills, and social-emotional development.
Implement positive behavioral interventions and supports to maintain a safe and productive classroom.
Collaborate with general education teachers, paraprofessionals, specialists, and families to ensure coordinated services.
Assess student progress regularly and update instructional plans accordingly.
Maintain accurate records and required documentation of student performance and attendance.
Participate in IEP meetings, staff training, and professional development activities.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to support student success.
