Job Responsibilities

Provide individualized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Adapt curriculum and teaching strategies to meet communication needs
Utilize communication methods such as ASL, oral communication, or total communication
Collaborate with general education teachers, interpreters, and support staff
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
Support students’ academic, social, and communication development
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
Ensure compliance with state and federal education regulations
