Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized instruction and accommodations within inclusive classroom settings
  • Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies to meet individual student goals
  • Implement behavior support plans and evidence-based intervention strategies
  • Collaborate closely with general education teachers, therapists, support staff, and families
  • Assess student progress and modify instructional approaches as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Support student participation, independence, communication, and academic success
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
