Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide specialized academic instruction and intervention services for students with mild to moderate disabilities
  • Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies based on individual needs
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to ensure appropriate accommodations and modifications
  • Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Implement evidence-based instructional and behavioral support strategies
  • Support students in developing academic, organizational, study, and self-advocacy skills
  • Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and school staff regarding student progress
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
