Job Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) for middle school students with mild to moderate disabilities.
  • Provide direct instruction and support to students individually or in small groups within the RSP setting.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to modify curriculum, assignments, and assessments.
  • Monitor student progress, collect data, and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Implement positive behavioral interventions and supports to maintain a productive learning environment.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress and needs.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, professional development, and staff collaboration sessions.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations.
