Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide individualized and specialized instruction based on student needs and educational goals.
Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching strategies for diverse learners.
Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
Monitor and document students' academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and developmental progress.
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and required educational documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary meetings, and student support discussions.
Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
Use evidence-based instructional strategies to support student engagement and learning.
Implement positive behavior support and classroom management strategies.
Create a safe, structured, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Support students in developing academic skills, communication, independence, and positive social behaviors.
Follow applicable special education requirements, school policies, and professional standards.
