Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide specialized instruction tailored to students with moderate to intensive support needs
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and teaching methods to meet individual student goals
• Implement behavior intervention plans and evidence-based instructional strategies
• Assess student progress and adjust instructional approaches as needed
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, support staff, and families
• Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Foster a structured, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district special education regulations
