Job Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Collaborate with other educators, specialists, and parents to create and maintain IEPs.
  • Utilize various teaching methods, including applied behavior analysis and literacy education, to enhance student learning.
  • Manage classroom behavior through effective behavior management techniques.
  • Assess student progress through standardized testing and ongoing evaluations.
  • Provide tutoring and mentoring to support students in achieving their academic goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of student performance and progress.
  • Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages participation and collaboration among students.
  • Adapt curriculum development strategies to meet the diverse needs of learners, including those in deaf education or physical education settings.
