Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify students' communication strengths and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with IEP goals
  • Provide direct speech and language services in one-on-one and small group settings
  • Collaborate with teachers, occupational therapists, and other staff to integrate communication strategies across the school environment
  • Support students with a variety of needs, including articulation disorders, language delays, fluency disorders, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC)
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of student goals
  • Monitor student progress, adjust therapy approaches as needed, and maintain accurate records
  • Educate and guide families on communication development and support strategies at home
  • Stay informed on best practices and new research in the field of speech-language pathology
  • Foster an inclusive, nurturing, and growth-oriented learning environment for all students.
