Job Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized instruction to students with visual impairments
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Adapt instructional materials into accessible formats (Braille, large print, audio)
  • Teach Braille and assistive technology skills as needed
  • Conduct functional vision assessments and learning media assessments
  • Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff
