Job Responsibilities

Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments.
Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
Analyze behavioral data to evaluate student progress and adjust interventions.
Provide consultation and behavioral support to students, teachers, and school teams.
Collaborate with special education teachers, related service providers, families, and administrators.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral recommendations and goals.
Provide training and guidance to staff on positive behavior support strategies.
Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies when appropriate.
Support students in developing positive academic, social, communication, and behavioral skills.
Maintain accurate behavioral records, documentation, and progress reports.
Follow school policies, professional standards, ethical guidelines, and applicable special education requirements.
