Job Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students with special education needs.
Assist students with academic, social, communication, and functional activities.
Implement behavioral strategies and interventions under the direction of qualified professionals.
Support students in following individualized behavior and educational plans.
Assist with classroom routines, transitions, activities, and daily learning tasks.
Collect and document student behavior and progress data as required.
Reinforce positive behaviors, appropriate communication, and independent skills.
Support students in developing self-regulation, social interaction, and classroom participation skills.
Collaborate with special education teachers, BCBAs, therapists, and other school staff.
Help maintain a safe, structured, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment.
Follow student-specific support plans, school procedures, and professional guidelines.
Provide consistent encouragement and assistance while respecting each student's individual needs.
