Job Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs.
Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans.
Provide individual and group therapy services based on student needs and educational goals.
Address fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skill development.
Support students in improving classroom participation and independence.
Collaborate with teachers and school teams to integrate therapeutic strategies into educational activities.
Participate in IEP meetings and provide appropriate occupational therapy recommendations.
Recommend accommodations, modifications, adaptive equipment, and instructional strategies when appropriate.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate therapy records and documentation.
Prepare progress reports and update treatment strategies based on student performance.
Communicate with families regarding student needs, progress, and recommended support strategies.
Collaborate with special education staff and other related service professionals.
Follow school policies, professional standards, confidentiality requirements, and applicable special education guidelines.
