Job Responsibilities

Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and assessments based on student needs
Assess students' fine motor, visual-motor, sensory, functional, and school-related skills as appropriate
Develop individualized occupational therapy goals and intervention plans
Provide direct occupational therapy services to eligible students
Implement therapeutic activities designed to support students' educational and functional needs
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings
Contribute to the development, review, and monitoring of IEP goals
Monitor student progress and modify intervention strategies when appropriate
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, administrators, and related service providers
Recommend appropriate accommodations, adaptive equipment, and classroom strategies as needed
Support students' ability to participate in classroom routines and educational activities
Maintain accurate and confidential student records and service documentation
Follow applicable special education procedures, school policies, and professional requirements
