Special Education DHH Teacher Job in Stockton, CA (SY 2026–27)

Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized instructional plans based on student needs and IEP goals
• Provide specialized instruction to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
• Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, and classroom strategies to support accessible learning
• Support students' academic, communication, language, social-emotional, and developmental needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development and review of IEP goals
• Monitor, document, and report student progress toward educational goals
• Collaborate with general education teachers, families, administrators, interpreters, and related service providers
• Use appropriate assessment information to guide instruction and intervention
• Promote effective communication and meaningful participation in the classroom
• Maintain accurate and confidential student records and educational documentation
• Provide families and educational teams with relevant information regarding student progress
• Support an inclusive, respectful, and accessible learning environment
• Follow applicable special education regulations, school policies, and educational procedures
