Job Responsibilities

Provide speech and language services under the direction and supervision of a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist
Implement established treatment activities and intervention strategies based on student needs
Work with students individually or in small groups as appropriate
Support students in developing speech, language, articulation, fluency, and communication skills
Follow individualized treatment plans and applicable IEP goals
Collect and document data related to student participation and progress
Maintain accurate and confidential service records and documentation
Communicate relevant student progress and observations to the supervising Speech-Language Pathologist
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and other educational professionals
Assist with classroom-based communication strategies and activities
Participate in educational and multidisciplinary team meetings as appropriate
Follow school policies, professional requirements, and applicable special education procedures
