Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs.
Provide specialized and individualized instruction to students receiving special education services.
Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, activities, and teaching strategies to support diverse learning needs.
Provide appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
Monitor academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional progress.
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and instructional documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and student support discussions.
Collaborate with general education teachers, special education professionals, families, administrators, and related service providers.
Use evidence-based instructional and behavioral strategies to support student learning.
Promote positive behavior, classroom participation, communication, and independence.
Establish and maintain a safe, respectful, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress and educational needs.
Follow school policies, special education requirements, and professional standards.
