Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Provide direct school nursing and healthcare services to students based on individual health needs.
• Conduct health assessments, monitor student wellness, and identify health concerns requiring follow-up.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with authorized healthcare orders, school policies, and applicable regulations.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized healthcare plans for students requiring ongoing medical support.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential student health records and nursing documentation.
• Support students with chronic, acute, developmental, and other health-related conditions during the school day.
• Respond appropriately to illnesses, injuries, medical emergencies, and first-aid situations.
• Communicate with families, teachers, administrators, and healthcare providers regarding student health needs and care plans.
• Provide health education and promote healthy habits, wellness, safety, and preventive care among students.
• Collaborate with special education teams and related service providers to support students' educational and health-related needs.
• Maintain professional confidentiality and follow applicable healthcare, school, and student safety requirements.

Job Schedule

• Regular 7–8 Hour School Day
• Monday Through Friday Workweek
