Job Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and regularly review Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Provide specialized and individualized instruction based on student needs and IEP goals.
Adapt curriculum, instructional materials, activities, and teaching strategies to support diverse learners.
Implement appropriate accommodations, modifications, and differentiated instruction.
Monitor and document students’ academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and functional progress.
Maintain accurate student records, progress reports, and required educational documentation.
Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and student support discussions.
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.
Use evidence-based instructional and classroom strategies to support student learning.
Promote positive behavior, classroom participation, communication, self-advocacy, and independence.
Establish a safe, structured, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.
Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress, educational needs, and goals.
Follow school policies, special education requirements, and applicable educational standards.
