Every Special Child is seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech/Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support students in Pasadena, CA, during the 2026–2027 school year. The SLPA will work under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist to provide speech, language, and communication support to students with diverse educational and developmental needs.

Job Responsibilities

Provide speech and language support under the direction and supervision of a licensed SLP.
Assist with individual and small-group speech and language therapy sessions.
Implement assigned treatment activities and strategies based on student needs.
Support students with articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication skills.
Collect and document student performance and progress data.
Assist the supervising SLP with therapy materials, activities, and service documentation.
Support the implementation of individualized speech and language treatment plans.
Collaborate with teachers and school staff to reinforce communication strategies in the classroom.
Participate in student support and IEP-related activities as appropriate under SLP supervision.
Communicate professionally with families and school team members regarding assigned services.
Maintain student confidentiality and accurate service records.
Follow school policies, professional guidelines, and applicable requirements for SLPA services.
