Job Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments.
Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans.
Provide individual and small-group therapy services based on student needs.
Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication skills.
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate service documentation.
Develop and recommend appropriate communication strategies, supports, and accommodations.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary educational planning.
Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, families, and related service providers.
Provide recommendations to support student participation and communication across school settings.
Maintain confidential student records and complete required reports in a timely manner.
Communicate with families regarding student progress and recommended strategies.
Follow school policies, professional standards, and applicable special education requirements.
