Board Certified Behavior Analyst Job in Irvine, CA (SY 2026–27)

Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments as appropriate.
• Analyze behavioral and student performance data to identify patterns, needs, and areas for intervention.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized behavior intervention plans.
• Establish measurable behavioral goals based on student needs and assessment findings.
• Provide behavior analytic services and consultation within the school environment.
• Monitor student progress and use data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions.
• Modify behavioral strategies and intervention plans based on ongoing data and student response.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings, multidisciplinary team meetings, and student evaluations as appropriate.
• Support the development and implementation of positive, proactive, and individualized behavioral strategies.
• Provide consultation, coaching, and training to school staff when appropriate.
• Help educational teams implement consistent behavior support strategies across classroom and school settings.
• Maintain accurate clinical, behavioral, and educational documentation.
• Communicate student progress and behavioral recommendations clearly with appropriate team members and families.
• Follow school policies, professional standards, ethical requirements, and applicable regulations.
• Promote a respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
