Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Analyze behavioral data to evaluate student progress and determine appropriate intervention adjustments.
• Provide behavioral consultation and support to students, teachers, and school teams.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and provide behavioral recommendations and relevant student information.
• Provide guidance and training to school staff on positive behavior support strategies.
• Apply evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles when appropriate.
• Support students in developing positive academic, social, communication, and behavioral skills.
• Monitor intervention effectiveness and modify strategies based on student data.
• Maintain accurate behavioral documentation, records, and progress reports.
• Support the development of safe, structured, and inclusive learning environments.
• Follow professional ethics, school policies, special education requirements, and applicable behavioral service guidelines.
