Job Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with special needs
Implement behavior intervention plans under supervision of a BCBA or special education teacher
Assist with academic instruction and classroom activities
Support development of communication, social, and daily living skills
Collect and record data on student behavior and progress
Manage challenging behaviors using approved strategies and positive reinforcement
Assist with classroom management and transitions between activities
Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff
Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
