Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Create and update IEPs based on individual student needs
• Deliver specialized academic and functional instruction
• Modify lessons and materials for different learning levels
• Implement positive behavior and classroom support strategies
• Track student performance and adjust teaching approaches
• Build communication, social, and independent living skills
• Work closely with teachers, therapists, and paraprofessionals
• Share student progress with families and educational teams
• Maintain accurate special education records and reports
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborative planning
