Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Develop individualized IEP goals based on student needs
• Provide targeted academic and functional skills instruction
• Adapt lessons and assignments for different learning abilities
• Use positive behavior and structured classroom strategies
• Monitor student growth and update instructional approaches
• Support communication, social skills, and greater independence
• Coordinate services with teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Communicate student progress with families and school teams
• Complete required progress reports and educational records
• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning
