Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language support under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Assist with individual and small-group speech and language therapy sessions.
• Implement assigned treatment activities and strategies based on established therapy plans.
• Support students with articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, and social communication needs.
• Collect student performance data and maintain accurate service documentation.
• Assist the supervising SLP with implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Support communication strategies and activities across classroom and school environments.
• Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers.
• Participate in appropriate IEP-related activities and multidisciplinary team discussions as directed.
• Monitor student participation and communicate relevant observations to the supervising SLP.
• Maintain student confidentiality and follow school policies and professional guidelines.
• Create a positive, supportive, and encouraging environment for students receiving speech and language services.

Job Schedule

• Regular 7–8 Hour School Day
• Monday through Friday Workweek
