Job Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments to identify students’ strengths and areas requiring support.
Develop individualized speech and language intervention plans based on assessment results and student needs.
Provide individual and small-group speech therapy services in a school-based setting.
Address articulation, fluency, receptive and expressive language, social communication, and other communication needs.
Track student progress and maintain accurate treatment records, service documentation, and progress reports.
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute relevant assessment findings, goals, and recommendations.
Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, administrators, families, and related service providers.
Recommend appropriate classroom accommodations, communication supports, and strategies to improve student participation.
Adjust therapy approaches based on student progress and ongoing educational needs.
Maintain professional standards, confidentiality, and compliance with applicable school-based requirements.
