Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and other behavioral assessments as appropriate.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Analyze behavioral data to identify patterns, measure progress, and guide intervention decisions.
• Provide behavioral consultation and support to students, teachers, and educational teams.
• Implement evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) strategies based on individual student needs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, families, administrators, and related service providers.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral information and recommendations to educational planning.
• Provide guidance and training to school staff on behavior support strategies and intervention procedures.
• Monitor the effectiveness of behavioral interventions and make appropriate data-informed adjustments.
• Support positive behavior, self-regulation, communication, social skills, and student independence.
• Maintain accurate behavioral records, progress documentation, and required reports.
• Promote safe, respectful, inclusive, and supportive learning environments.
• Follow professional ethics, school policies, and applicable special education requirements.
