Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students.
• Assist with classroom learning activities and daily routines.
• Implement assigned behavioral and instructional strategies.
• Reinforce positive behaviors and appropriate social interactions.
• Support students with communication, self-regulation, and independence skills.
• Assist with transitions between classroom and school activities.
• Follow individualized education and behavior support plans.
• Collect and record student behavior and progress data as directed.
• Support teachers and behavior professionals with classroom interventions.
• Encourage positive peer interactions and appropriate classroom participation.
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment.
• Maintain student confidentiality and professional boundaries.
