Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments and analyze student behavior.
  • Develop and implement individualized behavior intervention plans.
  • Provide behavior support based on students’ educational and developmental needs.
  • Monitor and document student progress toward behavioral goals.
  • Collect, analyze, and interpret behavioral data.
  • Collaborate with special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service professionals.
  • Train and support school staff in implementing behavior strategies.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions.
  • Provide consultation to teachers and families regarding behavioral support.
  • Promote positive social, communication, and adaptive skills.
  • Adjust intervention strategies based on student progress and data.
  • Maintain accurate clinical and educational documentation.
  • Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive learning environment.
