Overview

Job Responsibilities

• Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and analyze behavioral data to identify student needs.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Design evidence-based behavioral interventions based on assessment results and student goals.
• Collect, review, and analyze behavioral data to measure intervention effectiveness and student progress.
• Provide direct behavioral support and consultation for students with diverse learning and developmental needs.
• Collaborate with special education teachers, general education staff, related service providers, administrators, and families.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute behavioral assessments, recommendations, goals, and progress updates.
• Provide guidance and training to teachers, paraprofessionals, and other school staff on effective behavior-support strategies.
• Support positive classroom behavior, student engagement, communication, social skills, and independence.
• Monitor implementation of behavioral programs and make adjustments based on student response and progress.
• Maintain accurate clinical, behavioral, and educational documentation.
• Promote consistent use of positive behavior strategies across classroom and school environments.
• Follow ethical standards, professional requirements, confidentiality practices, and applicable school policies.
